We are seeking a skilled and experienced Transportation Supervisor to oversee and optimize our transportation and logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient transportation of goods, managing logistics processes, and driving operational excellence. Main Duties & Responsibilities

· Coordinate with last mile carriers for daily transportation requirements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.

· Contact carrier providers to plan and determine the number of vehicles needed for production, taking into consideration production schedules and capacity.

· Maintain regular communication with service providers to assess their performance in terms of timeliness and accuracy, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth coordination of transportation activities.

· Continuously monitor and analyze transportation operations data, identifying opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and customer service.

· Develop and implement transportation and logistics strategies to enhance overall supply chain performance and meet organizational goals.

· Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to transportation operations management, and implement relevant changes or improvements as needed.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as process optimization, technology integration, and performance measurement, to enhance operational effectiveness

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Experience required for role

Essential

· 3-5 years of experience in transportation operations management;

· Experience in managing suppliers/carrier providers, including business negotiations, qualification assessments, contract management, and driving service quality improvements.

· Strong communication skills.

· Broad knowledge of organization and its services

· Attention to detail

· Great time management skills

· Work well under pressure
